Transforming Steps – Campaigns and Events

In order to promote mental health and wellbeing and to raise awareness on gender-based-violence, KS constantly engages in organizing campaigns and events in an effort to create a public engagement platform on the topics. We do this through the medium of art, festivals, and performances.

Purpose
  • To awaken and engage communities through creative wellbeing
  • To raise awareness and mobilize action on wellbeing and gender justice

We strive to-

  • Run campaigns and festivals with a purpose
  • Normalize mental-health discourse
  • Promote self-care and collective care

Silence and stigma curb community action on gender based violence (GBV) and mental health; creative approaches unlock participation.

We aim to address the problems of-

  • Limited open dialogue and low engagement
  • Fragmented networks around wellbeing

Art becomes a civic tool—connecting people, building empathy, and sparking collaboration.

The program promotes-

  • Arts for self/collective care
  • Community collaboration and solidarity
  • Culture-led attitudinal shifts
