A COVID 19 Awareness Program took place in Lakshman Chowk village, Sonamui Post Office, Ghatal Sub-division, Paschim Midnapore in collaboration with AASHA (Association for Acquiring Self-Reliance through Handicraft Activities).
The objective of the program was spreading awareness on COVID-19 and the precautionary measures one needs to take and Distribution of ration and hygiene kit to community members who lost their source of income during COVID-19 crisis.
Support Extended:
The program took place in two phases, with the same set activities being repeated separately for each group of 30 participants. The first group consisted of 30 adolescent girls and the second group consisted of 30 adult women.
Ration and hygiene kits were distributed as well. For each participant, this comprised of the following:
